Last night I played a short set at the first ever Rock the CASA show in Page Auditorium at Duke University. Despite several other arts related events going on at the same time, Theta raised about $1500 for the National Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) Association, an organization that “supports and promotes court-appointed volunteer advocacy for abused and neglected children so that they can thrive in safe, permanent homes.” I also got a free t-shirt
